I agree with you. I also think it's silly not to let kids play football - most won't be playing past high school if they get that far. It's just part of the NFL's image problem, and it's something they have to fix whether or not you think such concerns are for sheeple fags or not.
I don't believe this rule is going to affect my enjoyment of the game one bit - in fact, NONE of the pussy vagina fag rules have. Well I used to HATE in-the-grasp, but that was 20 years ago when it was new and they called it all the time. That's in the past.
There might be a few road bumps, but soothe yourself. It'll work out just fine.
Senile old Jim Brown said he NEVER used his helmet back in the day, and he somehow managed to have semi-decent career. Perhaps others will follow.
From a non-image/legal perspective, I support any rule that is designed to keep players safe. I used to LOVE huge head-snapping hits. Now, after years of hearing about guys like Mike Webster they make me wince. Nothing wrong with trying to make the game safer. Sorry if that makes me a media-fed sheeple.
