I do know that in the NFL whatever guaranteed money that's in a players contract is the only for sure deal the player can count on.

You'll get no argument outta me regarding JJ being the worst GM in the league but I did hear that this deal puts the Cowboys at five million under the cap for this upcoming year.

Its funny how most teams are trying to get away from these types of multi-year salary cap busting contracts and prefer to pay up front to protect the franchise in the long run, good old boy JJ just guaranteed the "boys" will be a 8 and 8 team at best for the forseeable future.

The real impact players that the Cowboys have drafted since JJ bought the team have come when Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells have been at the helm.

Seriously how much of a look do you need to see of Romo to realize that he's a at best average QB.

Oh well besides being a Pittsburgh fan I also love watching the Cowboys stink it up and I know I'll have plenty of that to watch for the forseeable future.

Offense is not the problem
Defense is the problem. The team was playing very well last season and then quickly key defensive players were lost for the season and the B squad was not good enough to make big plays.

On offense Dallas seems to have weapons
Murray at RB
Witten at TE
Dez and Miles at WR
Then you have Romo at QB. A very streaky player who went on a nice run last season and then threw 5 INT's against the Bears and another 3 INT's in the season finale at Skins.
Very frustrating.

The league has no choice but to do this stuff or they'll be sued out of existence. Head injuries are a huge issue right now in case you haven't noticed, and don't think it's not taking a toll. You remember that ad last season with Ray Lewis' mom being convinced to let her boy play football because now the NFL is working harder than ever to make football safer?

People aren't letting their kids play football. The press has been HORRIBLE the last few years on the NFL and they have a huge image problem, not to mention legal problems. Adrian Peterson drooling and hobbling around like Earl campbell in a few years won't help. My brother in law loves football, and so does his 8-year old son. We take him to 4 or 5 football games a year (including the Super Bowl).

He's told me - and they boy - that he will NEVER be allowed to play football. And he isn't the only one. I dated a gal who said she wouldn't allow her kids to play football. Cause she listens to NPR and they've done too many stories on head trauma and football.

Using the crown of your head goes against everything every single player is taught going back to pee wee ball. Beyond head injuries, it's a real good way to get paralyzed. I agree with you. I also think it's silly not to let kids play football - most won't be playing past high school if they get that far. It's just part of the NFL's image problem, and it's something they have to fix whether or not you think such concerns are for sheeple fags or not.

I don't believe this rule is going to affect my enjoyment of the game one bit - in fact, NONE of the pussy vagina fag rules have. Well I used to HATE in-the-grasp, but that was 20 years ago when it was new and they called it all the time. That's in the past.
