Here is where you are truly showing your front runner ways. You're loving the call because they made it. If they would have failed you would be in here beating your chest talking about Tomlin is an idiot and everybody knows you should take the points and play for overtime. I don't care that they got in. It was not a smart play. Fuckwads like you who can't see it, that's fine. I just know that with 100% certainty that you would have been the first person I here calling for his job if they didn't make it.

So fuck you, Matardo.
you are wrong. i would not have criticized the play call at all. Steelers are on the road. all the momentum is on their side. they were driving down the field and at the 1 yard line. steelers had 1 TO remaining. their best player on the field gets the ball in the wildcat formation and they win.
plus, they sent Vick wide right to line-up as a WR, so that he would not get the ball on the play or have a chance to mess up the play.

on the road, down by 3, at the 1 yard line with 1 TO, go for the WIN!

Tomlin is a genius today. Does anybody remember the last time a team was near the goal line and made a ballsy call and it didn't work? They did something against wisdom and it fucked them. That was Seattle. Of course since it didn't work, you were quick to rip Pete Carroll. But Tomlin is a genius. You're a front runner and you will only support the plays that work. You have proven time and again that you know jack shit about football. You only know what ESPN talking heads tell you and then you repeat it like a retarded parrot.

you really are on a roll today. HUGE difference between the play call last night and the SB play.
tomlin opted to give the ball to his best player on the field for the win.

Carroll decided against giving the ball to his best play and that decision cost him the game. since you are unable to understand the difference between the to, that does not surprise me one bit.

the last thing i am is a front runner. i gave my opinion & feel like i backed up my opinion. you on the other hand are soft, would settle for the tie game on the road and would choose to let Vick try to win the game in OT

Once again, it was not the right call. I stand by that.

And the Seattle play was very similar. It went against what they should have done. Pittsburgh should have kicked the field goal, Seattle should have run the ball. They were both the wrong call but you're fine with Pittsburgh because they just happened to win this time. You being a front running retard loves it and claps along like a seal with any other mong who likes the call.

You also were all up on Weeden a few weeks ago and everybody laughed at you. Now, you're pinning hopes to Matt Cassel. You've just dumped your boy Weeden. A retarded child could have told you that Weeden would not have a shot at success but you were flying his flag.

If there is anything else I can help you with just let me know. Those of us who have followed football, played organized football, and understand football will be happy to help you seeing as how you know nothing and probably wouldn't know the 46 defense from a 46 Studebaker.

if only you were as great as you think. like i have told you many times, you are soft=you have zero balls! if you knew anything about the game you would have full knowledge that Steelers had a new kicker, playing his 1st game of the season. YOU MORON!!!

i was high on Weeden because he was the best option at the time. he has shown over 3 games that he is checkdown-charlie, and not good enough to win a game. now that Cassell is on the team, IMO, he gives them the best chance until Romo returns later this year. what is the problem with supporting a player on your favorite team? seems very innocent to me.

who is your favorite team?

46 defense was made famous by Buddy Ryan.

It's not being soft. It's playing the smart percentages.

Oh boy you know Buddy Ryan created the 46 defense. Congrats retard. Without Wikipedia tell us what the principles of the 46 are and why it only worked for a couple of years. You can't and I know you can't. You only know what the talking heads tell you and you couldn't break down a play to save your life. Those of us who have played or even coached look at you and laugh because you're just a fucking idiot.

tell you what-put on a helmet, play the QB position and allow me to run the 46 defense on you. i would be more than happy to sack the QB over and over again. think Bears vs Pats in the SB,

46 D-8 men in the box
2 LB's on the D-line
single high safety
46 D designed to put pressure on the QB

The 46 was a gimmick defense that only worked for about four years. The Patriots were not a good team. Once you had teams that were smart enough to get rid of the ball quickly the 46 was doomed. Bill Walsh had the perfect offense to beat it and he did. Bill Walsh's offense is still widely used today. The 46 is not. It was a gimmick and that's it.

no shit Nitt Gritt. you are not telling me anything i don't already know.
the "west coast offense" all but killed the 46 D
the 46 D was effective against an offense with 2 WR's and 2 backs. which is why the defense is rarely seen in the game today.

the gimmick sure did work against the Pats and every other team back in that SB season. no team was good against the Bears that year, except for Miami. hey, did you know Miami defeated the 46D that season and the game was on MNF,

you are soft. play for the tie on the road with a kicker playing his 1st game of the season and a back-up QB that has the worst completion percentage of his era

You ran to Wikipedia or football reference. Good job.

But being a first round pick as a quarterback doesn't matter at all does it, matardo? Remember when you argued that first round quarterbacks weren't a big deal? Or how about that time you didn't know how a toilet worked?

why would i have to run to wiki? as a Dallas fan, Buddy Ryan is well known. remember, he put a bounty of the Dallas kicker and that kicker took a cheap shot back in '89 after a kick off.
anybody who followed the NFL in the mid 80's knows about the 46D. don't act like you found where Hoffa was buried, MORON!

IMO, drafting a QB in the 1st round or the #1 pick is ridiculous.
makes much more sense to trade down because a QB can be found in the later rounds.

According to Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan, the Cowboys also kicked the tires on Matt Flynn, Josh Johnson, Christian Ponder and McLeod Bethel-Thompson during workouts Tuesday. All four combined to attempt 60 passes in 2014, which is both awful and misleading, because two—Johnson and Bethel-Thompson—didn’t throw any.

One week to learn a play book and he'll be ok? Blind fanatic much? If we was talking about the Skins you would be blasting and laughing at them.

Try a limited play book for a QB who hasn't thrown a pass in over a year and there's a little thing called TIMING QB's and WR's normally like to have.

He's more experienced so you can expect some completions and hope to overcome 2INT's and/or a fumble. Then again they're playing the Giant's who can't stop the pass or bring the pressure.

Luckily it's a division game vs a shitty team so anything can happen. Dallas could put Teabow and expect a game. They might as well stick with Weeden, it would be his best game.

Casell fucking sucks and why teams continues trading draft picks for him is one of the great mysteries of today's nfl.

He could have FOUR YEARS to "learn the offense" and it wouldn't matter.

Cowboys are fucking finished Machado. A lobotomized retard could deduce this, but then we know you aren't operating on that high an intellectual level.

3, 2, 1..........
I just read back at all your yapping over the 46D, the wild cat and you sound like a nub that just wasted hours on google.

The 46D was so great! Hey dumb ass, great is Richard Dent, Singletary, Perry, Wilber Marshall, Hampton and Otis.......It's your personnel dip shit. Run the 46DDDDDD with the 1985 Buc's Roster and they give up more point then the 2013 Denver Broncos scored if not more.

Run the west coast offensive with bad TE's or RB's who can't catch....Play a full zone with a with Man to Man CB's or a shitty Safety and you get burned all day long.

You have to match your Defense or Offense with your personnel or it's not going to work no matter what. You can't just run the 46D and call it great, you need OLB's and Beef up the middle.

------------------The best example

Nnamdi Asomugha was ranked one of the best CB's during his Raider years, the Eagles gave up bank and put him in a Zone and Nnamid Asomugha was totally lost burnt toast. He didn't have a clue when to leave or stick his zone and was never heard from again.

-----------------

That Wild Cat play was a gimmick that didn't fool anyone, it was a stupid fucking call, Bell got hit behind the line and arms on him but odd's are you're not going to stop him from getting a yard anyway.
Any coach with a brain would have ran a sneak with Vick or a dive with Bell, the only two plays fast enough where you could put the ball in the endzone or call a time out if you don't. Calling a fade or a cross would have been instantly expected by the CB's and sat on. But out of the Wild Cat is was a clear run that didn't fool the D. Look at their D formation, they was ready for it. It wasn't gutsy it was foolish, so Bell got a 1yd TD. What's the odds. It was stupid because it was an unnecessary risk.

--------------------

Variations of THE ZONE are the most basically used and taught defensive from Pop on up. When you get to the Pro's you can't do it without the players.

Seattle's D is simple, they traded and drafted players who could play zone and and ended up with Great Players who can play Zone.

Raider's D is basically the same as Seattle's and they're one of the worst units in the NFL. Woodson is a good cover Safety but can't come up and tackle like Kam Chancellor. The Raiders are Weak at the CB position which is why they switched to zone to make it easier "I'm guessing" but they still suck and can't cover their ZONE or when they Man Up. They don't have the skill or the communication to work as a unit.

So enough with how great the 46D is when it was the players who dominated.
Enough with the West cost when it's easy if you have the hands to catch

All you've proved is your knowledge comes from scouring the internet reading football for dummies and other peoples interpretations without actually understanding dick. That is funny, you boasting about is hilarious.

I like the pick up of Cassell, they didn't give up much and the experience don't hurt. I wouldn't start him this week since he hasn't thrown in over a year even if he impresses the staff but I think Dallas will start him regardless. Cassell being a vet could easily throw a ball in practice simulations to out duel Weeden but Weed's got the full book down and the other factors.
The Giant's can't defend the pass and don't bring much pressure, Weeden's best shot would be this game and it would give Cassell time to double his play book, timing and get to settle in and at least know their names.

Some good points, man. But, damn. Weeden is just so bad. I don't know if he's thinking about screwing up , or is really just that uncomfortable.. I do also think the players need to step up around him. Someone just make a damn play.

It's just more blatant that the Dallas FO really needs to get serious about the QB situation and finding Romo's replacement.. Harder to do than say, no doubt.

as mediocre as Cassel is He's led a team to the playoff's, Weeden's lost 11 straight starts. kind of off subject but WTF happened to Josh Freeman? He was a pretty damn good QB a few years ago, I kind of thought Dallas might give him a try, He's still young, how does a dudes talent just fade like that? was he into drugs or mentally fucked up or something?

He was a pretty damn good QB a few years ago, I kind of thought Dallas might give him a try, He's still young, how does a dudes talent just fade like that? was he into drugs or mentally fucked up or something?
He's playing in the world football league or some other minor league. I read his stats for game 1 and they were awful. I'll let you Google the info and you can see why he's not NFL material.

Read today that Leary is out at LG and the rookie from Bama, Collins is in.
The ex Seattle RB might start in place of Randle. Then you have the QB
position change(which is the right move).

Google or his stats won't tell me why He's no longer NFL material, in 2012 the guy had a great season and still holds numerous franchise records, that was only 3 years ago, Something had to happen mentally or self inflicted, I don't recall him getting injured, just wondering how he fell from grace so fast, I watched the preseason games with Mia and He was terrible, it's just weird.

He's a head case. He's the football equivalent of Chuck Knoblauch or Steve Sax.
