My thoughts exactly! Tyson did NOT have the eye of the tiger thought he was going to have. In fact, BOTH men looked very scared. The women gave a far better fight! A championship boxing match is 36 minutes. 3mins x 12 rounds = 36.
Tyson and Paul fought for 16 minutes. Eight two minute rounds.
Two minute rounds are the standard for women's boxing. There's never been a men's match for two minutes AFAIK.
It was that short to accommodate Mike and get approved by the commission. They were fighting in Texas because it would be really tough to get the credible commissions (NV, NY and CA) to approve Mike to fight. Texas let them do it, but I'm sure part of getting him approved was making the fight short.

i haven't been that disappointed and let down since finding out Santa wasn't real. I understand Tyson running out of gas in the 3rd round and on but he could have, and should have, knocked that youtuber into the dirt when the gate opened. It would have been a rallying cry for all people over 50 around the world. AARP could have ran stories for a years off of it. Instead, they both should have just sat a table in the middle of the ring and shared drinks...
