The dates are out now. Minneapolis on the 10th but not 11th - possible second night? And it's their first US tour in NINE years. That's the time between High Voltage 1976 and... Fly On the Wall 1985.

They have 2-3 recovery days every show.

They play every fourth day for six weeks. If anyone questions why ticket prices are so high, that's why.

Playing places like Pittsburgh and Cleveland in May can be a crapshoot. By Memorial Day it should be ok but still. Something tells me you don't book stadiums in April and May unless you already have the summer and fall mapped out.

I’m in for Rose Bowl and possibly Chicago.

Still not following where this Axl rumor came from.

They picked some random cities for only a dozen dates.

Apparently there are no presales for AC/DC, so expect a shit show when tickets go on sale all at once.

However, don't you just love how no prices are ever released until actual tickets are on sale. This is purposeful to make people make spur of the moment decisions rather than being able to carefully consider what they're willing to spend for what types of seats.

I'll give you the other four, but this one stumped me. You'd rather see an outside show in the dead of winter?
Spring and Fall. Summer heat is miserable… at least in the lower half of the country… with humidity it’s literally a physical endurance challenge. Brutal. And in the south, powerful thunderstorms are possible every single evening. Awful experience. Especially for the cost.
Now I’m lost. I’ve never seen weather forecasts calling for 50/50 chance of rain every night during the summer.
Have you ever lived in Florida?

I saw AC/DC in 1982 on the For Those About To Rock tour, so I'm good. No reason to ruin the memories.

My thoughts exactly. My AC/DC show was in '91, and I don't want to see an inferior version more than a third of a century later.

You can see the ticket price threshold for each show if you are internet-savvy. Go to the Ticketmaster page for a specific show, RIGHT CLICK and view the page's source code. Then search (CTRL-F) in that page for "priceranges". You'll see the basic face value ranges (before Platinum Ticket increases or Dynamic Pricing).

Example: Gillette Stadium is $59.50 - $225.

Checked out tickets. As expected, anything in the lower-mid bowl is over $200 a ticket after fees.

Upper bowl, over a $100 per ticket after fees.

No thanks, I don't need to see AC/DC on their last legs.

Brian did just fine on the shows in Europe. Why suddenly would he need to be replaced?
