I’m really enjoying this war Trump has started with Canada!
It’s better than any comedy on tv!
Tariff World War!..f*cking hysterical
Not a big fan of that war but do like Linda going Pink Floyd on Education.
I would of been my H.S. Alex De Torian if History of Wrestling was class.
I guess I sound like a old man now but these kids of the future are going to have it easy.
Feel like Han Solo in OG Star Wars “wealth beyond my imagination huh?”

Fresno Maple Leafs. The Falcons are back!
If ONLY the Falcons were back. Too bad Trumpy can't sign an executive order to do something about Arthur Blank's piss-poor ownership and trade decisions.

Who won the over/under bet on how long it would take Pete Hegseth to compromise the military with a major fuck up?
Hey, maybe we all got lucky. Everybody, be sure to check your spam emails.
And I guess we should be lucky that Muskrat was thwarted from meeting with whomever re our war with China plans . . . for now.

I don’t know what you call it, a Senate hearing or something, but Russian Asshat Gabbard, Patel, and someone else could not answer a fucking question. Such incompetence. Fucking fire, impeach, or whatever is possible. Dumbasses.
^^^^^ In the real world, all of these chucklefucks would have been court marshalled for their complete incompetence. But that will never happen because Trump will never admit he effed up. Never ever ever.
But it is lots of fun watching him and the other glassy-eyed morons try to answer questions regarding this entire incident. None of them are playing clueless about the situation because they really are clueless about the situation.
Also fun to watch Trump and Hegseth dogpile on the Atlantic, screaming about how they suck and shouldn't even be in business. Umkay. Then why are they on your contacts list? How, just how, did they get the invitation to join?
*sighs* Just another fun day in the Trump universe. We could probably hold our breaths until the next major effup happens which should be around Friday.
So Waltz is saying that the Atlantic guy infiltrated his phone, like added himself. How does that work? Like, if I texted you saying, "hey, this is so and so and this is my new number, delete the old one?", and then moving forward they think they're texting someone else, however it's really you. Hmmm...not a bad idea for the right situation.

After dithering on any overseas travel for a few years I felt a strong urgency to travel abroad before the election. I am sure glad I did and chose such an amazing city as Trondheim, Norway since now I would ashamed too show my face as an American in any civilized countries.
All you simps too poor / stupid to have been anywhere except maybe Tijuana on a weekend feel free to leave your predictable copy n paste comments since we know you can't say it "in your own words."

Trondheim of all places?
I mean it's got it's charm, but it wouldn't be in my top 100 of Euro-recommendations to be honest.

The whole thing was haphazardly booked based on a $109 one way flight to London I found on Norse Atlantic.
I looked at Demolition 23 in Helsinki but the window closed. Then Therapy? in Helsinki with hopefully making it to Manfred Mann in Oslo too but I didn't like the T? setlist. Was a little irate I found a Viking ship museum looking at the Oslo venue on a map but it's closed for the next few years. Looked at MM tour dates and saw they were playing Trondheim as was D-A-D a few days later and the hotel options and the like looked so much better.
Also in 3 days I felt like I was able to see everything.

Security issues aside, here is our VP commenting on a strike that destroyed a civilian apartment complex:
That is fucking pure psycho shit. We just slaughtered completely innocent men, women and children to get one guy, and his comment is "excellent".
Cannot imagine how this could ever have negative repercussions.
Pure evil. How the fuck do these folks consider themselves Christian and Godly. Fucking hypo-christians. Jesus would smite these aasholes. Come on god. Send one of those plagues or floods again.

Your love for Manfred Mann explains the mediocre city though!
Therapy? has never played a bad setlist as far as I know, so that's another strike. DAD + good hotels sounds reasonable, so jury's still out.
The primary goal was really anyplace else that has bands I can't see in America.
Therapy? was playing an 85 min set that was mostly Troublegum. Not my fave but good for them for selling out almost every show. In 2019 it was a 2 hour comprehensive set which I saw 4 nights in a row. Booked and then canceled a trip to Austin last year when they played SXSW.
Manfed Mann's Earth Band has an excellent catalog of about ten songs that made up the setlist. Really a random band off a very small bucket list.
Trondheim was mostly otherwise walking around, stuffing my fase and hitting museums. Probably the most impressive was the free breakfast buffet at the Chesterfield Hotel. Smoked salmon and the like. Tromso was a tourist trap but still interesting. Saw some Cowboy Junkies-ish sounding band called Hollow Hearts there.
Also spent about 90 minutes in London, had the best fish n chips ever but had to turn around and go back to Gatwick as soon as I stumbled across the line into Churchill's war bunker.

So even if he were right, just points to how stupid firing around uncoded Signal messages is.

I saw their Troublegum set in Helsinki. I have to agree, they we're better with their "normal" set, as I've seen before. Even Troublegum has fillers.

Many USians and all Trumpies won't care because "they're only Muslims, fuck 'em". For the last 18 months Israel has been annihilating entire neighbourhoods just to get 1 guy, with full approval from Biden then Trump. A few days ago they blew up one of the remaining apartment blocks in Gaza just to kill a specific journalist. Did anyone spot the international government outrage? Me neither.

Never mind the bands, I want to know about the fish+chips. If you went to the ww2 bunker in Hillingdon, that's near my office. Or did you mean the war room in central London?

Israel always act like cocks. I do not like it, but I don't feel the betrayal I do when it is our own people.
It doesn't make me go: "THESE ARE NOT THE FUCKING VALUES I GREW UP WITH OR WHAT MY COUNTRY SHOULD ASPIRE TO."

That was probably it.
It was at some cafe along the lake at the park Buckingham Palace is in. Don't remember the chips but the fish was one massive piece as long as my forearm with the lightest and crispiest coating.
I really had no idea until I landed at Gatwick for an 8 hour layover I would actually be going to London.
The whole trip was so poorly planned but I think it worked out better that way.

Ah, OK. I know the place. St James Park. Never eaten there, always thought of it as a "just for tourists" restaurant and those generally aren't great anywhere in the world. Glad to hear there's an exception. It's a shame it wasn't one near me though. I've been thinking about getting a fish+chip lunch this week so I was hopng to ask if they'd put an "endorsed by Metal Sludge" sign in the window.
And unplanned trips are generally excellent. We spend too much time these days researching reviews and booking absolutely everything in advance. The wife+I are going to Portugal this year, we'll prebook the first and last night hotels then wing the rest.
